In spite of the trend among office workers towards dropping the necktie from their office attire, thanks to the dot-com company executives, there are still plenty of men, and women, who opt to wear traditional neckties for the plain and simple reason that they like wearing them. Even a number of companies in traditionally conservative industries, such as banking and insurance, are slowly easing the necktie requirement for their employees. However, some fashion watchers believe that there is a growing number of young men who now wear neckties because it is no longer compulsory.

For the men and women who choose to add a necktie to their attire, they can easily accumulate a good number of ties of different colors, designs, and materials to match their different shirts and suits. To organize all these, a Richards Homewares Revolving Tie and Belt Rack would be very helpful.

The rack consists of a motor, which runs on four size C batteries, encased in a sturdy plastic housing. The motor drives a belt attached to necktie hangers. When the motor is switched on, the belt revolves around the motor, thus allowing you to view all neckties without having to rummage through them. Lights at the front end of the casing are also a big help. The hangers are strong and sturdy enough to hold as many as 64 neckties.

Sporting a casing that is finished in faux wood grain, the rack makes a fine accessory. It is easily mounted on your closet’s hanging rod with the two screws supplied with it. These are fitted with knobs so you won’t need a screwdriver to tighten them.

In addition to the 64 neckties, the rack also has hooks for eight belts. These, however are not connected to the motor and thus do not revolve along with the neckties.

Dimensions of the Richards Homewares Revolving Tie and Belt Rack are 7″ H x 14″ W x 4.5″ D.
